La soluzione definitiva per affumicare con un bbq a gas (io ho un weber spirit SP-335). Ho provato qualunque tipo di smoker box per cips di legno ma ottenevo solo due risultati: quelli da impostare sotto la griglia facevano fumo per massimo 30 minuti (e poi vai tu a ricaricarli) mentre quelli da appoggiare sopra la griglia non prendevano mai fuoco (se fai L&S la prima carica puoi accenderla ma poi non riesci ad accendere i refill perchè la temperatura è troppo bassa). Con il pellet ho risolto tutto. ECCEZIONALI. finalmente ho tutto il fumo che voglio, in più avendone 2 corti non spreco pellet se voglio fare affumicature di 2 ore e nel caso posso fare più fumo (usandoli contemporaneamente). OBBLIGATORIO l'acquisto di una pistola a caldo per accendere il pellet. ACQUISTO OBBLIGATO PER CHI VUOLE AFFUMICARE CON UN BBQ A GAS.

I have used these 3 times with 3 flavors of chips and have not noticed much of the smoke flavor in the meats.

Good value for money. You need to look through the listings to find these at a good price. Seen the same things for considerably more.Easy to light with a cooks torch.Can positioned in any bbq so pretty versatile.Used these a few times now and although they look pretty horrid the performance remains the same!
