In the past when I have needed a smudged look on my pencil drawings I would usually use my finger. That gets messy real quick. This smudge brushes aren’t quite as good as the finger with its human oils and all. But a close seconded. And you don’t get your fingers nearly as dirty as with your own hand. Really good way to rub out the sharpness of the edges in your drawing. There isn’t really a learning curve it’s very easy to just start using. The different brushes provide different textures and gives you a more versatile pallet of options to work with. Not a bad tool to have around and with the low cost why not?
