Building this model was great. It takes a lot of patience, and it's definitely not recommended for kids. It is in no way a toy that can be tossed around. Believe me, however, if you're the individual who built this model, you won't let any thing happen to it. I gave this kit one star on durability simply to deter anyone thinking that this a toy for their children. Models can be very frail, especially helicopters with their rotors and landing gear.The kit was shipped within a day or two after the order had processed.Once again, this kit requires patience. If you like to rush things by building and painting all in one day, you're likely to regret it.

Con gusto compro

This is a very nice model from Academy. It is a little advanced so I cannot recommend this for first time modelers but for those with a few under their belt I think it is a great kit.If there were anything I would suggest to get corrected, and that would be the instructions that came with it. Having built the viper 1/35 from Academy and comparing the instructions from both I must say the viper was a delight to build whereas this model has different components for different types of blackhawk types, making it a little confusing at first. But it does come with photo references. Just the explanations are incomplete or not clear.Even still I give this model five stars because it is just worth it.
