Worked like a charm. Easy to install the SSD, high quality housing, doesn't get hot, easy to tuck away. Perfect.

Goed verpakt, voorzien van hittegeleidende stickers voor op de SSD als je dat wenst. Eenvoudig openen, monteren en dichtklikken. Uitstekende snelheid op Mac Mini M4 base model, wordt wel warm maar niet heet (gehele behuizing is bedoeld om hitte af te voeren).

i didnt purchase it on amazon but a other shopthe devise is functional for a long run but it need more cooling,i even placed it on top of my pc case on exhaust fan to help coolong,the build in fan is not capable to cool a xpg gaming s70 blade 8tb,so far no disconnects like people stated and i am copy from 3 sources at same time to the nvme1 micro sd that is connected to the acasis2 external ssd via pci dont know what to think of it because , this is not even tb3/4 speeds but usb

Tb4 works very well but do not expect the max bandwith with this enclosure. I tried several gen4 x4 nvme drives and highest speeds i get are 2900MB/s read and write on my M4 mac mini which is off course fast enough for most things. But is is 2/3 of the 40Gb bus speed.

Caja ideal para montar un SSD NVMe que te dé la suficiente velocidad para trabajar incluso con grandes archivos de vídeo sin ninguna pérdida de rendimiento ni necesidad de utilizar proxies. Yo la estoy usando con un Kingston NV3 para un Mac Mini M2 Pro y no solo alcanza velocidades similares a las del SSD interno del Mac (3,2 gb/s frente a 2,8 gb/s), sino que encima la combinación entre esta caja y el disco te hace ahorrar una barbaridad de dinero frente a los precios de ampliación oficiales de Apple.La construcción de la caja es de aluminio y cuenta con un ventilador interno para refrigerar el SSD. Viene con instrucciones súper sencillas para instalarlo e incluso con algunas láminas de pasta térmica para colocar encima y bajar algún grado de temperatura (todavía no he escuchado el ventilador, por lo que la refrigeración pasiva es excelente).El cable incluído es Thunderbolt 4 y tiene la longitud suficiente para colocarlo al lado del Mac Mini sin que sobren o falten centímetros.Para todos los usuarios de este tipo de Mac, esta caja es ideal

Works as advertised. Housing a NVMe Lexar NVMe 4TB SSD. Heat sink works because the housing gets hot when you push it, but room temperature under normal working conditions.I'm getting 2364 MB/s write and 2802MB/s read with the combo on a M2 Pro Mac Mini.

Utilisé avec mon MacBook Air M1 pour du montage video, je profite de débit beaucoup plus rapides qu’avec mon Samsung T7. (Pratiquement 3000 en lecture / écriture avec un M2 Samsung 990 Evo Plus de 2To). D’après ce que j’ai compris, ça pourrait être plus rapide, mais c’est dû au contrôleur de la puce M1. Cependant, c’est largement assez rapide pour travailler sur Final Cut avec de « gros rushs », sans ralentissement (ce qui arrivait de temps en temps avec le T7).Je n’ai pas du tout remarqué que le boîtier chauffait fort, à tel point que je ne sens pas l’utilité d’allumer le ventilateur. Ce dernier fait un petit peu de bruit, mais il suffit de l’éloigner avec le cable plutôt long (par exemple le placer derrière votre écran) et le bruit devient vraiment très faible. Pour moi qui déteste les bruits de soufflerie et qui aime travailler dans le silence total, ce n’est pas vraiment gênant (surtout quand on fait du montage video, puisqu’on va forcément entendre du son des rushs).C’est donc un bon produit, peut-être un peu cher quand même à l’heure où le Thunderbolt 5 arrive, mais ça reste quand même intéressant quand on voit le prix du stockage chez Apple ou chez des vendeurs de SSD externe qui propose du Thunderbolt…
