Excelente producto, muy practico su diseño, es mejor que otras marcas que probe donde hay que meter la memoria quitando una tapita con desarmador y que al final se barre la rosca de los tornillos y ya no puedes sujetar la tapita. Este producto no requiere de desarmador, su diseño es muy práctico. Adémas su diseño disipa mejor el calor que generan estos discos duros que otros diseños que he probado.

Gehäuse funktioniert einwandfrei, der Einbau ist einfach, Performance wie erwartet - knapp 900MB/sec am USB C 3.1 Bus direkt und knapp über 400MB/sec am USB A 3.0 Bus. Gemessen mit einem iMac 2019. SSD ist eine Micron 512GB 2240 NVME. Bringt intern verbaut zwischen 2400 und 2700 MB/sec.

This was probably the best enclosure I have had so far and I have had more than a few. I tested on a 500gb WD770 2280 NVME using the c cable supplied to a direct c on mobo connector. 1000mbs read 980 write. Never hotter than 45C temp.I really like the easy open hinged design. Easy open, so easy install with the 2280 locked in with the snap closure. No plugs, no screw required. I used the thermal pad and snapped it closed. Great design.

5 stars because it saved me. It's very easy to use. Worked on the first try. My laptop just died and would NOT come on...I keep MOST of my stuff backed up but there were several things I needed from that laptop I did not back up. Thanks to this, I got them!The bad? I mean, it's not horrible as all I needed for this was to retrieve my data... But the read speeds are slow.. Using a brand new Lenovo Windows 11 laptop and this device connected to USB 3.0, I'm only getting 18 to 19 MB/s.I've never had luck with any flash drives or SSD cards going much faster than that. I'm not sure why. On regular external drives I get good speeds like 150 MB/s. I don't know if it's a windows default setting or what that causes this slowness. I do know enough to go to the properties of the drive and change it to "better performance" but that did nothing..The device feels pretty sturdy... although when I put my SSD in, it wouldn't click down securely... (such as shown in one of the videos here. I'm talking about like when you insert it, how it's angled upward slightly... pushing down, there was nothing to click to hold it into place. Probably just me doing something wrong but I did exactly what was demonstrated in the video..it simply did NOT want to stay down. But I was able to close the lid.Once I got everything off the drive I just reformatted it so I now I have 500 gigs storage space I suppose.Hope this helps.
