pretty good gun for the price, the shells eject properly instead of getting jammed every three seconds, looks and handles great too 5/5

here are my detailed first impressions:1. The blaster is quite fun to play with, but I don't think it's great for children under 13. There are too many areas where it may be unsafe for younger audiences.Examples include:- resistance builds up with the more shells you insert; the first 2 were easy but from the 4th it is considerably more difficult- when the blaster is loaded, there is a lot of tension from the shell tube spring, meaning that if the shell catch were to disengage (rarely), the shell springs out from the loading area.- the shell ejection cover (the metal part) is quite sharp on edge, some sandpaper would fix it, but it's just a heads up- when the trigger is pulled whilst the shotgun is pumped back, the shotgun fires and forces the cover shut. considering the factor above, this could easily cut deep into a finger- due to the moderately strong resistance of the inner components, it puts a lot of strain on your bare hands when used for a period of time2. the overall quality of the blaster feels very cheap, similar to those yellow Nerf blasters. This blaster flexes a little and feels relatively lightweight. the actual "shotgun" mechanism is a hit or miss. it either cycles shells with no problems, or the shell would not eject and potentially jam the blaster. you can't cycle shells properly when you tilt the shotgun as it disrupts the shell positioning.The blaster is basically all plastic, this includes the internal parts. This means that it is plastic on plastic friction. There wasn't enough grease by default which means that it felt very off to primeThe foam darts that come with the blaster are a little inconsistent with the shells, some require some force to be inserted into the shell whilst some have very little.3. Other notes:- the darts fire perfectly fine and it sticks to the glass as expected. however, they're not compatible with Nerf darts however you could cut them to size- the design of the blaster makes it impossible to aim with the default sights as the stock is too high- it feels front heavy- the safety is an interesting feature, but feels unnecessaryTo conclude, this blaster is very unique compared to your typical Nerf blaster. However, it is cheap and flimsy and it feels quite unsafe for kids under 13 (not in terms of the fired darts). Considering all of the small negative things, I think this is NOT worth the price you pay. I wouldn't recommend

WARNING!! EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TOY!! Fingers can easily get caught in the area where the shells are ejected. The ejection contraption is made of sharp metal and moves at a high rate of speed with lots of force. My son had his finger cut open by this 'toy'

You have to load the foam bullet into the shell to load, my grandson is 7 and he figured it out. He said he knows it has a lot of power because he shot his brother in the back with he and he cried. A lot of toy, but the price point is high for this.
