AMT AMT1086 1:25 Bouw Bulldozer Model, Wit

When I was a child up to a teen I built plastic models of just about everything but enjoyed the semi trucks the most because they were unique and big kits. A few years ago I saw that AMT re-released all those 1/25 scale semi truck kits again. All the same kits I built as a kid are available again, I bought a few of my remembered favorites. Then I saw this, a 1/25 scale dozer how cool is that! Great kit with minimal excessive flashing or offset. A few a these AMT kits are being pulled from old worn molds from made in the 70's. You see that with the excessive flashing around the part which requires a lot of sanding and trimming not so much with this kit. Honestly it looks like the kit was drawn in brand new molds, no flashing disaster like AMT's "Lowboy" trailer kit. Good kit highly recommend if your are looking for 1/25 scale construction equipment. Wish they'd produce a 1/25 excavator or bucket loader.

I bought this to build as a gift for the last remaining veteran in his home town, being he loves dozers and owned one of these. There were missing parts for the tracks, which I had to fabricate myself, as well as warped parts that needed to be modified in order to fit properly.

Modeling of model is very poorly doneNothing lines up and instructions are poorly written.

I needed a 1/25th scale load for the A64B Autocar amt and the 2 AMT lowboy trailers i used to build this lowboy Trailer and truck i built and chose this amt construction bulldozer. it has very little if no flash and goes together as per instructions. great addition to my truck and trailer display. i recommend this kit for any one looking to build it. all amt kits, but the decals are crap. very brittle and hard to place. hard to see but even the decals on this display were torn but slid together which worked. had to trash a couple decals but because i had two trailers i had extra decals. never experienced this with the older kits years ago. they need to fix this cause the decals are the main part in some of the details. and i am not inexperienced at building these. i been building these kits since the 1960's. so it's the decals and not my inexperience.
