The idea behind the solution is perfect but it did not deliver the outcome. The solution is not strong enough to pull the weight limit stated in the box.

カーテンボックスに取り付けるには以下の点で障害がある。本体が大きいためカーテンボックスに干渉する。取り付け金具部分が太いためカーテンボックスの中のカーテンレールに取り付けるのに困難が伴い、なんとか取り付けてもカーテンの取り付け金具が入らない。無理やりつけても壁と干渉しているので途中で停止してルート設定できない。センサーが壁を向いており窓からの外光を感知できない。現状では機能を十分に発揮するにはカーテンレールを裸で窓の上ギリギリで取り付けている場合に限られる。

I’m using two of the Smart Curtain Motor (Rod) in two rooms in my house.Set up and updated through Aqara app and then integrated with HomeKit without issue. One of them throws the occasional “no response in HomeKit” which I think is related to Zigbee signal strength. Generally speaking the connectivity, reliability, and operation has been seamless.They *do* make noise during operation, but it’s not super intrusive in my opinion. Perhaps not suitable for light sleepers if you plan on using them in a bedroom.I use them with daily automations and Siri commands without fail. As usual, another solid HomeKit product from Aqara.
