After some trial and error with the fit, I am very satisfied with these goggles for open water swimming. I had read mix reviews on the Kayenne goggles. Most complaints were that the goggles leaked, in some cases significantly. I know everyone's face is different. I am 5'9" 167 lbs. For pool goggles, I use ones where I can adjust the nose bridge connector with the smallest piece, which made me even more skeptical about purchasing the Kayenne goggles. However, I had owned the Aqua Sphere Kaiman Swim Goggle (which has a smaller eye piece than the Kayenne and only tinted lenses) and had good luck without any leakage. My only complaint with the Kaiman goggles was that my range of vision was limited when sighting buoys in open water in both sunny and cloudy conditions. I decided to take a chance and order the polarized Kayenne. My first experience in the pool was bad. I put on the goggles upon initial entry into the water. One eye leaked considerably. I tried tightening the straps with no luck. That also made the goggles tighter on my face, which caused discomfort. I also tried shifting the eye with the leak closer to my nose. That stopped the one eye from leaking, but...caused the other eye to leak. I took the goggles off and threw them in my pool bag and then put on my normal pool goggles. The next time I tried the Kayenne was after a pool workout. This time loosened the straps. Still experience some leakage, but not as much. I realized the oils from my face had been removed from the workout. I seemed to have a better seal. The third time, I again tried them after a pool workout. I put the goggles on. Then positioned both eye pieces closer to my nose and then pushed them toward my eyes to make the seal. I experienced no discomfort and also no leakage. I did notice as others had that when the goggles are underwater, the polarized lenses caused distorted vision. It is a minor nuisance and not a problem for open water. My first open water swim, after implementing lessons learned from the trial and errors above, was awesome. I first took a towel and wiped the oils (and sunscreen) away from my face. When I entered the lake, I wet my face, then put on the goggles. I pushed both eyepieces toward my nose and pushed down toward my eyes to make the seal (as before). I dunked my head and experienced no leakage. After starting the swim, I found I could sight the buoys much easier because of the larger range of vision with these goggles and also the polarized lenses. I could swim straighter and did not require to sight as often to stay aligned to the buoys. My swim time had decreased by over two minutes for a 1500 m swim. My GPS watch showed a straighter swim track compared to previous swims on this same course. I am very happy with these goggles. I hope you have the same success as me.

Bought these for my almost 3 and 5 year old for pond swimming. They are perfect for them. They are easy to adjust. They seem to be really good at keeping a tight seal on little heads and they don't fog hardly at all. I can easily adjust them from kid to kid if they are sharing a pair and my 5 year old can get them on by herself most of the time. They are comfortable enough that they can leave them on for longer periods of time whereas our old goggles (different brand) they were always taking on/off to relieve some discomfort on their cheeks from the pressure.
