Ich habe die Saiten für die Ukulele meiner Schwester gekauft. Ich komme aus der Gitarrenwelt, somit hatte ich hier nur eigeschränkt Ahnung, was ich kaufen sollte. Die Saiten schauen aus wie ganz normale Nylonsaiten. Meine Schwester findet sie glaub ich sehr gut, sie hat sich noch nie über wehtuende Finger beklagt, somit denke ich, dass die Saiten eher auf der low-tension Seite liegen. Klingen tun sie auch toll und haben bis jetzt noch keine sichtbaren Makel (am 18.11. gekauft, jetzt ist es der 25.01.).

My wife recently took up the Ukulele but was becoming frustrated by the constant tuning and re-tuning of the factory strings.No matter how often we tuned the Ukulele the strings would not hold their pitch for longer than a few minutes. At first I though the problem was the tuning knobs on the Ukulele but after a couple days it was clear the problem was the strings - not the tuning knobs.I've been a guitar player for more than 30 years so I know a lot about guitar strings but this was the first set of Ukulele strings I've every purchased.Prior to purchasing this Aquila set of strings, I did some research and discovered that some of the expensive, higher end, concert quality Ukulele's come pre-strung with Aquila Nylgut strings so I thought I'd give them a try.Re-stringing a Uke is very similar to re-stringing a guitar. Each string is marked with a color so they can be easily identified. If you don't know the sting layout the Bottom String on the Ukulele is called the first string (1) and is A. The #2 string is E, #3 is C and the Top #4 String is G.After installing the Aquila strings I noticed an immediate difference in the sound quality from my wife's inexpensive Ukulele. The new strings didn't transform my wife's Ukulele into a concert Uke but they did sound brighter and more vibrant than the original factory strings. The Aquila strings were smoother and stiffer than the factory strings but the biggest improvement with the Aquila strings was the ability for them to hold their tone and pitch much better and longer than the original strings. My wife would have to re-tune her Ukulele constantly with the old strings (I'm talking every couple minutes) With these new strings she can play for a half an hour or more without going out of tune. When the Aquila strings do go out of tune, they only go out of tune slightly and only need a slight adjustment to get back into tune, the factory strings were like elastics and would go out of tune to the point of changing the key entirely, not just sharp or flat a little.Overall I'm very impressed with these strings and highly recommend them. If you haven't replaced the factory strings on your Ukulele yet ... DO IT! For under $10 these strings will make your Uke sound better and more enjoyable to play without the constant hassle of re-tuning.

Solid strings. Installed easily. String identification on the envelop in a horizontal box. I’ve had good results with Nylgut strings.
