Bought this pickup for my rat rod project SG. Shipping took a while, and tracking wasn’t very well updated, but it did eventually come in. Installed it, and was very well pleased with the quality for the price. Very well made. Very responsive, and well balanced. Does lack some higher frequencies, but that’s actually common with hotter, and higher wound pickups. At 16k it is pretty hot. Would definitely buy again.

Super high gain, but tight and "clean"!! I'm noticing, like other pickups in this price-range, the tone character is so flat and underwhelming. Think multi-band EQ, right down the middle on everything. That may not be a bad thing, particularly if you want a great pup that blends well in a mix. If you want a UNIQUE sound, that stands out, these low-priced pickups will never do that. Nonetheless, the gain and response is very addictive. For the price, why not!?
