When I was travelling I brought this with me, paired it with a EU sim it worked great usually about 4x what I got on my phone on the same mobile network. If your travelling around and have a local sim this is worth the hassle of dragging it around with you because of the much better mobile data speed.At home it useful as I can install a vpn on the router so then all my devices automatically go through my vpn, this is really great if you work from home and maybe want to not be in your home country as often as required, I’m usually on my home local vpn so I can work from another country and work thinks I’m in my home country(I haven’t gotten in trouble but that’s the only proof I have that this works)If I was buying again I’d look for a router that had a usb 3 slot instead of this that has a usb 2 slot I think that this is a real bottleneck on my NAS home file sharing network.Over all the extra speed I get out of my SIM card made it a worthwhile purchase, maybe there’s a version with eSim capabilities would be much better but this works and I’m glad I purchased it.

I bought this device with my own money. I live in a free country, not in Russia. I like Yandex but I can't accept a router that requires me to say "yes" or "yes" when asking if I want to use their "safe DNS solution".Also, when you first connect the device to your computer, even if you're connected to the internet using another ethernet, it takes over your entire connection / DNS before asking anything as if you were at an airport's free wifi service being required to register at a portal.I don't know if the device is good, but this was just too much. Sorry, if I wanted to be restricted I'd just use my ISP's router. I got this so I could have 4G Backup and to own the router and do whatever I want with it, not have extra censorship and control over what I do.It seems others have the same issue here.I see others mentioning having to send the item to another country (Estonia) but at least this one I got (open box) in The Netherlands is just regular and I am getting the usual DHL Bar Code to return the item for free.I wish I had read the reviews!

If you want to send it back, you have to pay that yourself. And they are in Estonia. So the package would be more expensive than the actual product.

Very powerfull equipment without break of GSM signal or internet. I AM very satisfy chosed this One. Already with WiFi 6 and features that allow make a powerfull home network. TOP

The set-up was glitchy. The app useless. Reset didn’t reset. The only connection was through a Lan port, which my newer laptop didn’t support.

Produkt łatwy w konfiguracji, połączył się automatycznie z internetem. Ładnie wygląda i pozwala uzyskać wyraźnie szybsze transfery niż moje poprzednie (starsze) podobne urządzenie. Opóźnienia są minimalne. Jestem zadowolony, ocena 10/10!
