Je cherchais pour le télétravail un accessoire de ce type.Mon probleme est qu'étant noir, les webcam meme les plus évoluées ont du mal à permettre des visios de qualités, pour ce qui est de la caméra embarquée de mon mac n'en parlons pas.J'ai un reflex hybride de chez Sony, j'ai vu qu'il était possible de les utiliser en tant que webcam mais l'appli que Sony a developpé, ne marche pas avec mon mac.Cette solution est parfaite, reconnue sans avoir à télécharger quoique ce soit, et donne un rendu pour la visio que je ne peux pas comparer avec ma webcam logitech à 199euros.J'ai hésité avec la version d'Elgato, après avoir vu les tests, j'en suis arrivé à la conclusion que meme si elle avait l'air de faire encore mieux, mon achat suffisait pour un contexte de télétravail.

It's dirt cheap and I recorded 1920x1080@30fps without any problem. Plugged it in and let Windows 10 recognize it, started OBS Studio and it just worked from the get-go. I don't know about the audio quality since I recorded audio separately but the image quality is great IMO.(edited it when I found out the 60fps I first thought I got were just every 30fps frame shown twice, still a great buy that thoroughly deserves 5 stars! It could be the source that is 30fps tho, I'll edit again if I can find a real 60fps source to test with)

I've used this device multiple times with my Macbook Air 2017 and it works, i've never had any issues as far as connectivity and signal. The only issue i had and this is specific to my laptop model is that the adapter housing size will make the adjacent port unusable, so in my case i had to use an external charging device for my GoPro since i could not charge both the GoPro and my laptop while having the adaptor connected. But it works, A.

I bought this HDMI-to-USB video capture device to transfer TV recordings from a YouView box to PC hard disk. I used OBS freebie software to process the digitised video. I found OBS to have a less-than-intuitive interface, even for an experienced techie, but found the right combination of settings to create MP4 files. I struggled initially with getting audio but found that was due to a Windows10 "Sound" setting ("listen to this USB device"). I find that when running the OBS program the following day it may have dropped some settings, or the Windows "sound" setting has reverted to "off", which may explain why some reviewers thought that the device had stopped working. Also, my device runs just slightly warm - definitely not hot, as others have found.Overall, it's doing a great job and for the price I have no complaints.
