AZDelivery SPI TFT Display met 1,77 inch ST7735 en 128x160 Pixels compatibel met Arduino Inclusief E-Book!

This device works on 3V3 and has no level snifter on board, so it need a TXB0108 level shifter or similar for proper operation with Arduino UNO (5V levels), but all 3 devices worked properly as expected.The e-book was more up to date, in contradiction with a previous RED PCB screen " SPI TFT Display 1.8 inch 128 x 160 pixels" that I bought from AZ-Delivery before.

I bought this to use in Practical Electronics magazine's thermal camera project from July '24.You can see my breadboarding in my photos. Note the thermal camera is upside down :-)The project uses the Pi Pico so no issues with over-voltage (above 3.3v) on data lines.As the excellent top review states, be careful to bring Arduino data lines down from 5v to 3.3v - otherwise it's bye bye display!Be careful with the pin-out too. For example the pin-out on this display is very different to the display used in the original thermal camera project, so it wasn't just a drop in replacement. This didn't bother me as I'm making my own custom PCB. But it may affect others.The pin-out is clearly shown in the listing pictures as a table on the back of the display:Pin 1 - GNDPin 2 - VCC (5V)Pin 3 - SCKPin 4 - SDAPin 5 - RES (or RST)Pin 6 - RS (or A0)Pin 7 - CSPin 8 - Backlight LEDPutting a 39R resistor between VCC (5V) and the LED pin will yield good backlight results.For those wondering, the RS pin is also sometimes labelled as A0 on other displays - it's the same thing, but it threw me at first.AZDelivery emailed me separately with some rudimentary documentation and there is a card enclosed in the box with a QR code linking to the E-books.I didn't actually need the documentation, but it shows potentially good support from AZ.So I'm very pleased with my purchase!Hope I've helped :-)

Câblage pour essai, juste Leda en 3,3v ou 5v sur les doc de AZ-Delivery pas claire, un schéma avec 5v l autre 3.3v.mis pour ma par en 3.3v..

Un valido display TFT a colori per dare degna visibilità ai dati dei più microcontrollori della linea Arduino più potenti. Molto luminoso, ma va tenuto conto dell’assorbimento di energia se le applicazioni sono alimentate a batterie.
