I've been using one of these on a Makita BO6030 for two weeks now and the pad is showing only minor signs of wear. The Makita branded original soft pad, of which I had two, lasted 6 hours, and 4.5 hours respectively, before disintegrating. So we're looking at al least a 10 x improvement in durability over the Makita alternative on the same workload - and I'd be surprised if it doesn't end at over a 20 x improvement.Not only does this backing pad last much longer than the Makita one, it also produces a far superior finish. The Makita pad produced significant pig-tail trails that couldn't be avoided. The best you could do was to go over an area many times from different directions and with different speeds in order to hide the pig-tails by overlaying them with as many variations as possible. This pad, produces very light pig-tails that are essentially invisible from more than a meter away on oiled hardwood. Which means it also gets the job done in about half the time of the Makita pad, since you don't have to over the same area so many times to layer your sanding marks.The reason for the superior finish is obvious. The pad is far better balanced than the Makita one. You immediately feel the difference when you turn the machine on - it does not wobble and bounce like it does with the Makita pad fitted. As a consequence it doesn't bite into the wood, but instead just glides smoothly and effortlessly over it. With far lower vibration, it's less fatiguing to use the machine. I've been regularly using it for 6 hours of sanding per day with essentially no fatigue. I could keep going for 6 more - if only it wasn't such a desperately boring task.It's also fairly obvious that the vibration is likely what is responsible for the Makita pads disintegrating so rapidly. Which is why I'm confident that these pads will last much longer yet. The lack of vibration means they are not physically tearing themselves apart as you sand, and the rubber doesn't get nearly as hot due to constant deformation.

Makita BO6030: Perfecto, tenía que buscar un tornillo más largo pero eso igual. Ya he usado un montón durante la semana pasada y no hay ningún daño o defecto, va muy bien.
