After one month of use, the frame cracked. I do not recommend!

I love this knife. I bought it to cut carpets with (I’m fitting my own carpets) and because it was well rated by the experts. It’s a robust, safe and compact knife that is designed to make your life easier. I have so far used to cut the superglue of the communal cat flap. (Neighbour who doesn’t like cats glued it). The angle and the amount of glue meant that a cheap knife would of been difficult to cut with. Not only that, but I felt much safer with the safety features on this one. As shown in the photos, the knife collapses with the use of a very stiff leaver that you press. No instructions are included. It comes with blades contained in the blade holder, which you release with the switch and a blade protector, so you don’t cut yourself. It has a thumb rest and the blade is locked into the knife with two moving mechanisms. When opening the blade will lock open in a form click and doesn’t move from that position unless you put a lot of pressure on the leaver at the position of the thumb hole. The back has a clip for your tool belt. Aside from trying to figure out how to collapse the bloody thing, everything else comes intuitively. The handle fits easily in your hand and is easy to work with. I will be asking the selling to explain how to collapse the blade in the description. All in all a fantastic little knife that a recommend to anyone who needs a robust and easy to handle utility knife. Yes I also have a dolphin knife for cutting carpets as I am aware they a better fit for the job.
