Winkelwagen is nog leeg. De deflectorsteen scheidt het voedsel van direct vuur, doordat de vorm van de steen een heteluchtstroom onder de koepel van het deksel veroorzaakt. Bovendien breidt de deflectorsteen het toepassingsbereik van de Big Green Egg uit. Als de deflectorsteen met de poten naar beneden wordt geplaatst en de baksteen wordt gelegd, kan de Big Green Egg als steenoven worden gebruikt.

This smoker plate works perfectly. So far, I have smoked a large roasting chicken and a 5 lb. brisket. Both came out great. One hint: cover the top of the smoker plate with heavy duty aluminum foil to make it easy to remove the burned-on drippings from the meat.

Cracked in half after first use on BGE! We needed a deflect in a hurry so choose this one for the quick shipping. Waste of money. Requested a refund to no avail.

Been using this for a couple months on my BGE and it works great. Fits perfectly in the egg and provides just the right amount of space for the aluminum drip pan under the grill grate.

Item received is obviously a knock-off, with the three legs/risers only being ¾ of an inch tall. works as a deflector, but does not hold the grill high enough for a drip or liquid tray. Buy one from an authorized Big Green Egg retailer, NOT from here.

I like this and it does what it says. I just wish it didn't get so dirty. I don't even know how that could be done. Also, since it's the same material as the egg, it is prone to chipping. This item gets handled a lot; a hard coating of some sort would help protect it.
