J'ai acheté ce coupe carreaux pour faire le perron de ma maison (cf photo) et pour d'autres futurs projets (douche).Concernant le produit : il est assez lourd, costaud et plutôt encombrant quand on prend le modèle PTC 640 (coupe de 64 cm max).Au début, j'ai été bluffé par la simplicité d'utilisation. On passe la roulette (même sans forcer), puis on casse en appuyant légèrement. En aucun cas, j'ai du à forcer ou à appuyer avec force. Peut être utiliser aussi bien pour un homme que pour une femme.Dans mon cas, les choses se sont compliquées avec les découpes ! Pour mon projet d'escalier, je n'ai eu que des coupes à faire, d'où un travail bien plus long ! La marche faisait 28 cm, j'ai du couper mes carreaux (épaisseur 9,5 mm) à 28 cm sur 60 cm (ou moins).Il est impossible de casser un carreau dont le trait de coupe est aussi près de la bordure. 2cm est insuffisant pour avoir un appui pour casser le carreau. Dommage !2 solutions : soit couper à la meuleuse, soit faire un entaille sur le carreau et le couper avec une tenaille russe.Pour ma part, un seul point négatif : le blocage des grands carreaux. J'ai utilisé que des carreaux de 30x60 et quand on coupe le carreau sur la longueur, celui-ci n'est pas très bien maintenu en bas de la carrelette. J'ai mis un petit carton pour mieux bloquer le carreau et avoir une coupe bien droite.Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon produit qui permet d'avoir des coupes nettes et précises très facilement.

Mycket stabil och lättarbetad. Kanske ska man kika på den större modellen beroende på om man sätter stora plattor. speciellt när man vinklar plattorna så tar de plats. Funkar fint både på kakel och klinker. Måttskalor ganska svåra att se men de fungera ok. Man kan klippa ner till ca 20 mm

Prior to purchasing this I did quite a bit of research as it seems there's some pretty iffy tile cutters out there. Sure I could have just gone ahead and bought a £35 cheapy from B&Q but I've been caught out too many times by that sort of false economy. Considered hiring one but then you're stuck with rushing the job if you're to avoid paying the same sort of money that would buy a pro cutter. This Bosch tile cutter seemed to get good reviews and I was not let down at all. It's a big bit of kit mind and overall it is robust and very well constructed. It oozes quality and invokes a sense of confidence when you're using it. Used it for cutting kitchen floor tiles and EVERY single cut was accurate and clean, and even very thin cuts close to the edge of a tile came off as sharp as you like. Watched a number useful How To videos on YouTube first (Tommy's Trade Secrets / Tommy's Yard is a good site) to get an idea of how much pressure to use. So although it was reasonably expensive, this cutter proved to be an excellent buy. I'll be using it to do the bathroom later in the year and I'm confident that if I feel I don't need to hang on to it, I'll get a decent price for it on eBay and recover much of the original outlay. Cracking bit of kit.
