I received this grass trimmer yesterday and tried it once. It definitely helps cut borders without needing to get on your knees, doing its job effectively. Connecting the grass trimmer and the battery is very easy. It comes with two different mounting plates, one for the machine and one for the battery. The trimmer seems solid and well-constructed, although the wheels are made of plastic, so their durability remains to be seen. Now, the reasons for giving it 3 stars instead of 5:1. The trimmer is very short with no option to extend it like a telescopic rod. I am 1.81 meters tall, and I need to bend to use it, which gets tiring after some time (though not as tiring as being on my knees).2. The construction and balance make it very heavy on the lower end, requiring significant effort to push it forward in the grass.3. There is no way to lock the machine on the 'on' position (perhaps for safety reasons), so you have to press the button continuously for the machine to cut. Your little finger will get tired. I was using a 2-amp battery, the smallest available.Overall, it does the job, but if you have a lot of cutting to do and are tall, I do not recommend it. Consider getting a wire trimmer instead.One-Month ReviewI’ve decided to change my review to 1 star. Here’s why:The primary reason for purchasing this product is to attach it to the trimmer. After using it to trim the borders every 4-5 days for a month, I’ve found it to be nearly useless. My lawn has SOME ups and downs and uneven surfaces, but the design flaw is significant—the heaviest part (the battery) is positioned at the bottom. This means you have to push both the battery and the machine from a small handle approximately 1.4 meters above while continuously holding down the ON button.Even with the smallest (lightest) 2-amp battery, it’s incredibly difficult and tiring to maneuver. Perhaps larger wheels would help, but the design needs to be re-engineered to shift the weight to the handle, making it easier to steer. I do not recommend this product, and now I’m stuck with the machine and the extension rod.
