This is a very economically-priced cable-lock which will probably prove a very useful bike-lock or general-lock for use with various other things in many situations as its quite thick (15mm) cable means it's not particularly easy to cut through or wrench open, as is the case with much thinner gauge cable-locks. For basic bike security, I’d say that a lot of the time you can generally get away with using a cable lock that's only 8mm or so in diameter, but using 12mm, 15mm or even thicker cable-locks, will of course make stealing a bike harder and therefore provides greater security.This 15mm cable-lock is a particularly handy size though for carrying on a bike as it can simply be wrapped around a bike’s handlebars or stem. (It does actually also come with its own Bracket for attaching it to the bike, but I don't really think you need it for a bike lock of this relatively small size.)Cable-locks come not only in a variety of different thicknesses but also in different lengths, and as this is a relatively short one, it's less bulky and lighter in weight than longer versions. Its fairly short length, however, can be limiting at times when the only thing that's available to tie a bike to, such as a tree or lamp-post, is simply too thick for this lock to go round. But for tying up a bike to most street sign-posts and to public 'bike parking-stands’ in town centres etc, the 90cm length of this cable-lock is ideal.If you tend to keep or use this type of lock outdoors a lot of the time (at least in the UK where it rains 24/7 nowadays), it will benefit from being lubricated and protected with a little 'WD-40' or 'GT-85' from time to time. Spraying a little of the stuff into its keyhole and also into its lock mechanism, especially before and after the winter, will help extend the useful life of this very inexpensive but very useful cable-lock for several years!

genau richtig für EBike für Tagessicherung. Für über Nacht würde ich immer noch zusätzlich ein Kabelschloss benutzen um beide Laufräder zu sichern.Empfehlung.

Reçu avec un problème pour accrocher le câble sur le support. Le bouton ne fonctionne pas. J'ai décidé de mettre du dégrippant mais cela n'a pas fonctionné alors j'ai forcé le bouton et finalement il a cassé. J'ai dû encore forcé pour enfin réussir à faire fonctionner le blocage du câble dans le support. Maintenant il faut que j'appuie avec la clé pour le débloquer. Sinon le câble en lui est bien.
