I've had versions of this plyer for years, and misplaced or lent out my last set so this was bought to fill the gap in my toolbox. They worked alright the first few times I used them on a few small outer circlips, but upon approaching a larger inner one, the plyers were literally 2mm too small to reach the hole, and I ended up with tears on my workbench and a broken set of brand new plyers. These are good at what the toll is intended for despite being a little fiddlely to change out the plyer tips, and not having tips that are angled on the very tip to keep the circlips from launching into a low earth orbit as soon as they get the chance. If you are doing jobs that regularly have circlips involved, get a proper set of plyers that have the one purpose (inside circlip plyer, outside circlip plyer) as those are not just good at the job, but great at it.

USED ON A 2014 HUSQVARNA LGT2654 riding mower’s rear drive pulley....Irrelevant to most... but if your shopping hopelessly like I did for something that fits this particular situation😜 you’ll appreciate my review! The lgt2654” has an issue with frequent slipping off of the drive belt that gets lodged UNDER the rear axle pulley/fan and stuck on the spindle...you HAVE to remove the snap/fan/pulley to get the belt back in place🙄. Yes, you can carefully/patiently get it from above the [I suggest] right tire. Spin the fan for the best angle, unclip the electrical line so it’s outta the way... grab a mag light & lay off the coffee😉Once you have THESE 😅 and some practice/patience- it’s a quick ordeal- cause once it slips off once, it happens more often. Just order a new [non-stretched] belt now. *Avoid using the foot brake/clutch lever (putting the parking brake on) and this issue can be better avoided! Also clear out any grass buildup around up in the steering column area *where a part of linkage of the brake engages and rests on [up in] that platform area (around the column)- and if grass is there it cannot seat all the way which aids in the belt being loose still [brake cannot completely rest/disengage; causing the belt to keep slack]🙄🤦🏼‍♀️...and slipping OFF the drive pulley 😅 whereby CAUSING THE NEED for THESE particular **tiny 🖤 tipped** pliers😉I found these to be a little steep in price- but, I am a firm believer in the brand & the investment of it. Plus, after days of searching locally & online- this was the clear winner despite the price. I had no interest in buying a 3rd pair (yes I bought 2 options before this) that didn’t work for what I needed or were junk😕 Lesson learned the hard way😜I went ahead and ordered the extra tip set cause you will surely regret not doing it🙄the first time a set screw or tip goes bouncing off into the abyss, plus it comes with a size not in the original kit.
