Charlie Parker Omnibook - Volume 2: For C Instruments

I purchased a number of them. I am making progress and my more experienced friends indicated they have benefitted.

Yes, as the first comment declares: "Night in Tunisia" is not transposed to C, and neither is "Wee (Allen's Alley" so someone at Hal Leonard is falling asleep on the job (like the employee who omitted several pages from my copy of the Coltrane Omnibook).But 245 pages of sheer musical genius will inevitably have some errors and omissions, which is perfectly acceptable to me for $15. This ultimately might be a far more valuable book than the original omnibook because there are several superlong multichorus jam session solos, in addition to the enhanced legibility.

My book is missing pages.

For example the transcription of Cherokee page 25, bar 28 and 29 has notes below low E. Which is below the lowest note on a guitar; rendering these transcriptions difficult to read at times; at least for guitar; I guess this is ok for piano. I'm only keeping this book to create tracks to play sax over. These low notes could have been adjusted to be more guitar friendly by the author.

Very thorough and accurate so far. One problem: i got this in concert key and Night in Tunisia is IN THE WRONG KEY! It appears that it wasn't transposed from Eb alto for concert C. Not sure what other tunes are like this because i just purchased it, but I have to give it one star. The entire purpose of buying this for C instruments is so you don't have to transpose.
