Wanted to use as link between 10Gtek PCIe card and Icydock U.2/3 case.Initially connection was there but after some time it stopped working without any previous errors.Only a complete server restart solved it.Ich wollte es als Verbindungskabel zwischen einer 10Gtek PCIe Erweiterungskarte und einem Icydock U.2/3 Gehäuse nutzen.Anfänglich funktionierte alles problemlos, nur nach einiger Zeit bricht die Verbindung ohne Fehler oder ähnlichem ab.Nur ein kompletter Serverneustart hilft hier.

These wires are hard to find and can be a bit costly. I ordered 3 of them and got them the following morning. They worked great, no issues with them at all. though one of the wires I couldn't use because it ended up being a bit to short for my needs, need to try and find another one now that is 4 to 6 inches longer then the ones I had ordered.

Works perfectly with my Asus Pro WS W680-ACE motherboard and RAID10 disk array. The cable has been in service for two months and been perfectly reliable.

PCIE ssds (Kingston DC1500M) attached with this cable are very spotty and disconnect. The linux pcieport driver reports "card present", but "no link".A (longer) supermicro cable is more expensive, but also more flexible and longer and works without any issue.
