Ends of wires are bent at the right angle, also finished with roundwd ends so no tearing when you brush. Does a good job the first time. Doesnt make my dog like it any better but takes less time to get things done.

Offensichtlich ist der Preis der Bürste (zum Zeitpunkt meines Kaufes 84,50) sehr hoch. Lange hatte ich daher mit dem Kauf gezögert, da ich mir bezüglich des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses nicht sicher war. Ob sie diesen Preis rechtfertigt, ist meiner Meinung nach auch definitiv fraglich. Allerdings hebt sie sich zumindest in der Leistung auch von anderen Bürsten ab. Wir haben einen Main Coon Kater und einen Langhaar-Collie zuhause und beide haben eine chronische Abneigung gegen das Bürsten. Die langen Haare verfilzen schnell und Bürsten tut dem entsprechend weh, außer man setzt sich in mühevoller Kleinarbeit hin und hält jede Strähne einzeln beim durchbürsten weg. Mit dieser Bürste geht das deutlich einfacher, da die Borsten eher wie lange Haken fungieren und weniger leicht im Fell stecken bleiben. Man benötigt trotzdem etwas Technik und kann nicht wild durch das Fell durchbürsten, richtig angewendet macht es den Prozess aber trotzdem sehr viel einfacher. Beide Tiere wurden von mir in der letzten Woche regelmäßig gebürstet und haben es über sich ergehen lassen. Normalerweise waren hier vorher immer Flucht oder Bisse in die Bürste zu beobachten, weshalb diese Bürste ein großer Schritt nach vorne war.Trotz des hohen Preises kann ich die Bürste damit jedem empfehlen, der Langhaar-Haustiere hat und mit dem Bürsten überfordert ist.

I balked at the price and thought, How much better could it really be?Answer: A LOT better.This brush is hands-down the best slicker I’ve ever used. It glides through mats that used to require a full-on wrestling match with a dematting comb. It's way more gentle, and instead of leaving my dog's coat looking like she lost a fight with a static balloon, it comes out soft, fluffy, and show-dog ready.Durability? The brush itself is holding up like a champ, though the rubberized coating is starting to peel in one spot. But honestly, if that's the extent of the wear with near daily use, that’s saying something.Bottom line: If you have a fluffy beast, do yourself (and your dog) a favor—get this brush. Your arms, your sanity, and your dog's luxurious coat will thank you.
