Ideal case to hold my skirmish force of Primaris Space Marines, the foam is easy to move around and still offers protection without pressing on the models too harshly. Case is simple plastic but seal shut well and the carry handle is a decent one. Unlikely to withstand any great weight but that is not the point - a waist height drop by accident would most likely protect everything well. GW prices are a rip off as everyone knows so not giving 5 stars for value on principle. Other no issues

The plastic, handles, and clasps on these cases are strong. The build quality is quite thick and durable. I've had some short 2 to 3 foot drops and my models even those tightly packed have received no damage. The foam is of quite good quality and the inside can be both modded (that is cut) to fit larger models and small to medium units like odd size HQs and Tanks, specially if they are magnetized in parts. The case itself could be fitted with regular squared foam trays, precut or pluck foam.I have 2 skirmish cases and each contains a complete Indomitus set (no terrain). I also have a larger Crusader and it holds 1000 pts of sisters, The AoS Mighty Battle kit, Blood kit, Soul Wars and Blight Wars. And it still isn't even too crowded as I could fit probably 20 to 40 more models. I have not had any models break or damage one another and I consider myself pretty liberal in bunching them up by storing them standing and upside down. I do make sure more spindly models are given room to lay sideways or they are put in a special plain pluck foam box or in a curio. I wouldn't consider GW cases for more spindly and really delicate pieces where there are wings, whips, cloaks and chains and well just pieces that have really thin attachment to their base. Like skeles and ghosts, and I've broken a ton of them just on my own.I tried four cases before just purchasing GW kits, I was pleased with the Skirmish size, the wavy foam works and I plan on buying another Crusader so I can split up my Primaris and Sisters into a separate case or free up my 2 Skirmish cases and devoting them to just Sisters. The cases I bought prior were really cheap and they have since been marked up about 30% to 40% and the glue was dry, the foam cheap, they had to be really modded, the cases were not as durable, clasps felt loose or cheap, foam was torn/damaged and peeling apart. It's a skirmish case, it's for fitting like 500 pts and fitting it with plenty of room. I don't recommend really packing it unless you are comfortable with models rubbing against one another, and maybe having the somewhat larger models detach from larger bases, like large ovals for bikes, or HQs and Canopteks. You may be able to cut them into the side so they fit deeper into the foam. It's really for tossing in a kill team and a book maybe and some dice.It isn't going to hold much more then maybe a very tight squeeze of two 500 pt armies with nothing huge. It works well for me and looks good to me and for just stuffing bread and butter horde units in it, more then worth the extra cost. If I knew I'd like it as much as I would I would probably have 2 Crusaders and I first bought a Skirmish to just see if I liked it. You could even throw paint supplies in it and use it as a paint and model case if you wanted. I haven't tried the GW paint case but it looks interesting for anyone who has a lot of GW paint supplies. I only write a glowing review because this is a very good product imho.
