The cover of the book suggests various musical styles with jazz arrangement. When I bought the book I thought that the content referred to composers from different backgrounds. Only European composers are mentioned. Jazz, Blues and Rag Were Invented by African-American Artists

Our tween enjoys this book a lot. It is a good break from only classical and encourages additional piano practice in catchy rhythm. Really enjoyed it.

It was an instant hit - my only complaint was that it was almost too easy.However, after the original "Fur Elise" it forced a new counting exercisethat turned on a light bulb - always an exciting moment for a teacher !
