Bei der Schuhgröße 44, habe ich diese Socken in Größe 47-50 gekauft. Das war eine richtige Entscheidung.Es sind nicht mehr die "ganz billigen" , aber doch noch relativ günstigen Socken. Und ich war angenehm überrascht. Die Füße bleiben mehrere Stunden trocken. Ich habe schon mehrere ähnlichen Socken ausprobiert und war nicht so zufrieden

Based on my positive experience with Closemate cotton socks I took a chance on their merino wool ones. These are exactly perfect for winter. They add a lot of warmth with a little bulk. My shoes are tighter with these vs the cotton ones but that is to be expected. I still have my big fluffy sub-zero socks but those are too-warm for all but the bitterest cold so these split the difference between my too-cool cotton socks for summer and my winter foot-ovens that make my feet sweat.Also I dislike tight calf bands that leave lines in my ankles. These don't do that and are still stretchy enough to stay up. They really hit the sweet spot for resolving all the minor gripes I had with past socks.Finally Closemate socks blow all the Costco socks out of the water. I used to get my socks exclusively from Costco but now I'm going to stick to this brand until it's quality turns to crap as happens with all things that get too good and become too popular.
