I bought these as I was searching for a lightweight, ankle-height hiking shoe. They’re super easy to break in after a few hours of normal wear. I would say they fit pretty true to size. I like to have a little extra toe room so I went with a half a size above. They’re pretty stylish depending on the color you purchase and you can wear them anywhere. They have plenty of tread that allows you to plant your feet where you need to plant them. They’re not completely waterproof, but they do a great job at wicking the moisture if paired with the right wicking socks. The tread holds up pretty well in the water-crossings. You don’t feel like you’re gonna slip and fall. In my honest opinion, they are pretty comfortable and I’m gonna end up purchasing a second set for work.

Very comfortable hiking shoe. They worked very well for my hike through the Grand Teton mountains! Would buy from Columbia again.

Not women's as per the description. Unisex I guess. Solid, light, sturdy shoes. Smart, very breathable. You could wear them casually/socially no problem. But they really come into their own with a bit of rough stuff.
