The laptop cooling pad I purchased turned out to be disappointing. Upon unpacking, I noticed that the single fan it came with was damaged. This has been a very frustrating experience, as I was counting on effective cooling and improved laptop performance. I hope the company takes steps to improve quality control to avoid similar situations in the future.

For the moment, I can only complain about the misleading description: it says “aluminum and metal”, but you can clearly see in the photos that there is no aluminum and metal, only aluminum and plastic.Later edit: not cooling at all, the fan speed is not controllable.

Mackbook Pro15inchを使用していて、夏の暑さも相まって夕方ごろになるとPCの熱暴走により、フリーズやエラーログ表示などが多発しておりました。こちらのPCクーラーを購入し使用したところ、PC筐体自体の熱さは体感ではさほど冷えた感じではありませんが（PCの熱くなる部分がタッチ―バーの上部でファンの位置から少しずれているため、直接的な冷却にはなっていないかもしれないが）、熱暴走の発生がなくなりました。使用し始めて、まだ一度もフリーズなどが起きていないので、かなりの効果がでていると体感してます。補足）筐体自体はあまり冷えていないと書きましたが、PCクーラー自体の期待している効果については、「PCのシステム動作不具合の解消」という部分なので、その効果については十分体感できているという評価をしています。静音性については、通常のファン音程度はしますが、仕事に支障がでるレベルでは全く無いという体感です。また仕事はTV会議なども多くあるため終日イヤホンを付けており、ファンの音は全くしません。

A good size ergonomic stand which fits my 15" laptop perfectly and should fit most laptops of that size and smaller with no problem.The manufacturer says it will support up to 17" laptops but if you are a power user and own a laptop with a larger cooling solution, you might want to measure the base of your laptop to make sure the feet are no further than 370 (W) x 240 (D) mm apart if you want to use the ergostand through its whole range of motion (5 settings) with the two fold out clips. Without the clips the base measures 370 (W) x 260 (D) mm.The clips fold out to be 18 mm tall and do not interfere with my hands/wrists though your experience may vary if you have a slimmer laptop.The 140 mm fan's speed can be adjusted depending on how much airflow you need. I tend to leave it off unless I really need the additional cooling as the mesh surface provides plenty of ventilation. The fan runs relatively silently and is quieter than my laptop's fans during heavy workloads.The Ergostand IV also comes with a USB hub with 4 USB 2.0 ports which is nice.Build:The build is mostly plastic, save for the metal fan mesh and support stand, however it is very sturdy. It also has grippy rubber feet which prevent it from sliding around on your table.Integrated into the frame are two blue LEDs. One at the rear which is always on and one at the front which is toggled when you use the fan. Both are relatively unintrusive in the day time, but the power LED can be a pain at night if you have an always on USB port.Overall:This is a solid ergonomic stand and laptop cooler that you really cannot go wrong with as long as it fits your laptop. I pulled a star off for the lack of control over the blue LEDs, and because the included USB hub should really support USB C in this day and age.

Es un artículo que está muy bien. Cumple su función enfriando la parte de abajo del portátil. El flujo de aire se puede controlar con la rueda, y también trae un botón para conectarlo y desconectarlo. No hace excesivo ruido y es regulable en altura para que puedas ponerlo a la altura de los ojos si lo necesitas, pero también tumbado, casi plano, si lo prefieres así.

Money well spent. Top Quality product; the metal and plastic used feels very good and sturdy. The fan rpm is standard though i felt like it could have been better for this price, but it does its job well even at this rpm due to the huge fan. Nonetheless, I feel like it deserves 5 star.
