I’ve literally used hundreds of sets of these strings. These have an oversized low E string .52 that works well on the teles. The ones with the .46 E string I use on the strats. Join the Players Club…points go towards more strings!

I like Ernie Ball and D'Addario equally - but the color-coded string ends of D'Addario is a plus. I got this 11-52 set for my Squier Mini Stratocaster.Since I use standard tuning, I had to try thicker and thicker string sets until I found this 11-gauge set solves the problem of undue floppiness and tuning stability, and gives what I consider to be a normal feel.I was worried the strings might be too thick to seat properly in the nut, but to my delight, all 6 fit with no modification necessary. The higher tension is harder on the tuners and neck - but I haven't noticed any problems yet.My strings came in the light violet 'XL' packaging design (not the old blue & white design) and the strings are all in one sealed plastic bag, not individually wrapped.
