This pack of wall protectors arrives in a easy to recycle plastic bag. Inside are 6 sheets with each one measuring 30x30cm (12x12in) square.While not made from cork as the product title states, they are well made from a felt like material. I'm not sure exactly what this material is, possibly some form of composite, but I can say it's nice. It's also reasonably durable, has a uniform colour, lightweight and above all it's very thick.Literally as the product images show 1.2cm (1/2 inch) thick. Indeed, when tested with a set of darts, you've got to stand close and throw really hard for a dart to totally penetrate this stuff. Plus it comes with self adhesive pads, so there's no drilling required.Though, if you need to cut it to shape, it is easy to saw with a fine tooth handsaw. Abilities that also make it very suitable as a source for custom sized and shaped notice boards. With the latter finding that a band saw works well to cut this.I also tried experimenting with it as a source of crafting materials, primarily for dioramas and model railways.Something that I know is well outside the scope of what it's designed for. Yet with the right glue, techniques, materials and suitable projects I found it can be quite useful. For example it makes a great layer when using it as a base for G-scale train track.Overall ? As used as intended it's just right for protecting walls against stray darts, but the decent nature and durability of the material makes it great for crafting and other projects.

I did get these for round our dart board, as the wall is a little pocked of late. However, they are really nice and as there are 4 squares, the individual squares are super for small pin boards! I am using them for my inspiration and photo boards, and I'll have to get some more for the wall behind the dart board... or we need to make the effort to get the darts on the board! Adhesive strips on the back of them.
