Far cheaper than the stuff sold specifically for miniature games...works great, just needs that extra coat of paint for colour.

If you put a reasonably thick layer on; this comes out well with a good effect and can be experimented with (ie different coloured paints or wax underneath it for effect). I put smudges of gilding wax over it as it can look a bit stark as it's white paint; depends on the look you want. Recommended. Looks better the more it dries.
