This Pencil Wrap is the perfect way to keep and carry my personal selection of watercolour pencils. Two water brushes fit in the zip section. It's made from a solid material and closes with an elastic Velcro fastening, so it protects really well. First I bought one from another brand, but Derwent's is more useful.Somebody is having one for Christmas. :-D

Doesn’t take up extra room. Efficient for taking lots of pencils to class.

First off, I'm probably a heathen. I brought this to hold my Caran d'Ache Pablo pencils rather than my Derwents. To any puritans I apologise.As for the wrap itself. It is very well made, the stitching is sturdy and neat. It holds 24 pencils in a sturdy grip and the folded flap at the bottom will protect your tips nicely. There is also a zipped pocket at one end of the wrap that you could use to hold an eraser and a small sharpener, you might get a 15cm ruler in there, but it would limit how well the wrap can be wrapped.When rolled up it's narrower than a pringles can, so it's quite easy to carry & store in a coat pocket or a small travel bag.The elasticated loops will hold most artists' quality pencils quite nicely, you could hold pens in it instead. I have tested it with one of each: Cd'A Luminance, F-C Polychromos, Derwent Procolour. In addition to the Cd'A Pablos I'm storing in it for now.However, thinner pencils may not be held so snugly. I am particularly thinking of budget ranges, the likes of Crayola, Kalour or even Derwent Chromaflow won't be held as securely.The wrap is fastened with an elasticated strap with velcro at the far end and a velcro patch stitched on only one side, though the stitching seems sturdy, the one side stitching is a vulnerability.The fabric the wrap is made from is nice and sturdy, a little rigid and can handle a few scuffs, protecting the pencils inside nicely.If you want something nice and portable to take a few quality pencils with you this wrap will do nicely.I'm going to assume if you're looking at this wrap it's so you can carry a few nice pencils for some plein-air drawing or carrying a few favourites to colour at a café, rather than take a few Crayola to school though.

Das Mäppchen ist gut verarbeitet und wirkt sehr haltbar. Allerdings habe ich es gekauft, weil ich es flach falten wollte und nicht rollen. Das geht zwar, aber man verliert dabei 2 Steckplätze für die Stifte. Wenn alle Steckplätze besetzt sind, kann man das Mäppchen nicht mehr falten sondern nur noch rollen, was mir persönlich zu hoch ist, um es in meiner Tasche zu transportieren. Schade, aber ich kann mit 2 Stiften weniger leben.

Nicely made and handy. Not too bulky.

i trusted this more than the ones with pictures on them. it is minimalist, and does just what i need. havent figured out yet how long the zip will last, but the main hold is velcro and that seems just fine.
