Was not prepared for the smell. Wow, nasty. I diluted with coconut oil and essential oil. Much better. Fingers crossed this will help with tendinitis in my heal. The packaging was great. Very secure.

I've heard this has good benefits for pain, inflammation, long covid, Lyme etc. It can be taken orally, or topically, ideally mixed with distilled water, but gets fully absorbed systematically anyway and takes with it anything on your skin so you need to be careful.This has a strong funky garlic smell to it which apparently can make you smell the same way so I've been hesitant to try it. They make DMSO that is odourless if this is important to you. Will update if I attempt this. My bottle was well-packaged and didn't leak.

I’ve heard about DMSO for years and finally decided to try it. I developed some arthritis in my thumb that’s been bothering me. I thought I had nothing to lose trying this on it.I like the fact that it comes in a glass, leak-proof bottle. You definitely want to read the instructions before using it, especially how to store it to keep it in liquid form and ready to use.I decided to put a small amount of the DMSO on a cotton ball and rub it directly onto the thumb area. I did this before going to bed. I didn’t notice any tingling sensation or burning when I applied it. But man, does it smell like garlic! I was concerned about a garlic smell coming from my breath, but I’m guessing a larger amount would have to be used as I noticed nothing the next day.The next afternoon I noticed my thumb wasn’t hurting like it normally does. I was able to do my work with far less pain. This is just my experience with it. Everyone is different and you might experience no change.This seems like a high-quality product. I’ll keep using it to see if it continues to ease my pain, but so far I'm very happy with it.
