I'm not 100% sure what this is, or what it's for.I know, if you run a sharp edge down it, no sparks are produced. However, if you shave off bits of it, then use some sort of blowtorch to ignite them, the shavings will sparkle... A bit...Other than that, a nice shiny metal rod.If you're stuck in the middle of no where and need to start a fire - it won't happen with this.
