I don't know if it's supposed to be like this, but it makes a loud noise while it's working and the water is running. I wouldn't buy it again.

We bought 2 of them and fixed in two separate bathrooms.We used two separate TDS meters and checked how efficient these filters are.TDS of tap water reduced from 190 to 180 after using the filter which is not very significant.No change in PH of water with filter.Since the reduction of TDS is not that significant, I may not recommend the product for the price mentioned.Thanks.

Below is my original review with some parts removed. I was really frustrated and upset because I was unable to find filter cartridge replacements for this product. I had reached out to the company and never received a response. Many weeks went by and I and posted my review below. I ended up getting so upset that I threw this entire filter in the trash and bought a different one from another company. However I did end up hearing from the company after about a month from originally reaching out to them. They apologized for not getting back to me sooner. They helped me locate the right filter replacement but upon seeing they were out of stock. They offered to ship me replacement filters for free. I was beyond surprised that the products arrived the very next day and not only did they send me 4 filter replacements but two brand new units!! I was not expecting new units so this went above and beyond for me.I mentioned to them about posting a link or selling the replacement filters online. They appreciated my feedback. I’m posting the link for the replacement filters. Hopefully they are back in stock soon. giving them 4.5 stars and only because of how long it took to respond to me but rounding up to 5 for going above and beyond in taking care of this issue.++++++++++++++So I’m frustrated with this product. I guess I will start off with the good. It has done a great job filtering out impurities and has reduced the amount of hair I’ve been losing. Everything has worked great so far.My biggest complaint and I think this is a very serious one is that the “universal” shower head replacements I bought do not fix this unit. Another reviewer did a good post about the recessed top of the filter - I tried changing the filter out and always experienced water spraying everywhere. I have searched and searched Amazon to find similar filters. I have had absolutely NO LUCK! I reached out to the company and asked and they have not responded at all to me in the past month.I’m at the point I pretty much need to buy an entire new filtration system (not this brand obviously) that actually fits universal shower head.
