Bought these to compliment my Citadel Sprue Mashers for final trimming cuts on pricey Gundam kits and smaller scale wargaming pieces. Absolutely perfect for the job, however I'd avoid using them for cutting through harder plastics such as ABS and larger sprue, since the blade -while heat treated - will likely break. The packaging is great, nice foam insert in the box, and a handy pleather pouch for handily losing in the clutter of your desk during those more whiskey fuelled building sessions!11/10 can recommend!

these are great, i bought the for building my Warhammer minis and no squishing the plastik sprue when cutting at all.you have to be a little more carefull because they will just cut into the model like it's not even there but it's a huge upgrade from normal clippersThey also don't fling little plastik bits all over the place, it just drops where you cut itjust don't cut anything like metal or wire, you will ruin the blade, they are not hardened so only cut plastic with them and they should last many years
