If this is for beginners, I must be a pre- pre- pre-beginner! Didn’t understand any of it and I’m not sure it’s actually helpful???

The QR takes me to a Google Music site and I am not able to hear them on my MAC. The author tried to help me, but nothing is audible for me to practice with or hear.
