I bought these Reed switches to MIDI-fy the pedal of a church organ.Works as advertised. This switch, like most Reed swtches, is made from delicate glass, therefore you should hold the switch tightly with pliers when bending the legs in order to prevent the bend spreading to the glass part (a concept some reviewers here seem not to grasp).An advantage of this design is the ability to decide between normally-closed or or normally-open operation by cutting of one of the 3 contacts.

Funktionieren meistens. Sind sehr bruchempfindlich. Wechsler sind nun mal etwas anfälliger für Fehlfunktionen. Und wegen der Bruchgefahr muss mal halt, beim Biegen der Drähte, weit genug vom Glas weg, mit der Zange festhalten.
