fabric tears at seams after 1 wash. I normally last 5 to 10 years with jeans and throw them away because they are dirty, torn from wear or work/hobby. But I've never experienced this. It looks like the denim is very thin (satin) and no lock has been used for the edges of the fabric. I have bought three different jeans from this Amazon brand, all three of the same problem in different places. Amazon house brand is usually an A brand with Amazon label, I've always been satisfied with it. Furthermore, I have never had or seen jeans in India. All three were produced there. Unfortunately I can no longer send them back.

Ima a fan of Amazon essentials, once you find your size, the cut and the quality are brilliant, and you can choose your size down to the inch in length and waist, it’s like made to measure, as with all jeans they do get larger over time but not excessively to where they falling off, and after a quick wash it’s back to the factory size, if you get some on prime day well it’s a total bargain so affordable, for brilliant quality.

Bought these for my late 50s husband, who recently let me throw away his old, baggy black jeans. They looked like old-man pants, so I decided to try some slimmer fitting ones for him.These are GREAT! They look stylish and so nice with a great sweater and nice shoes. He looks younger and far less "schlumpy" (lol)I will wash these in cool water to preserve the dark colour, and dry in a warm dryer to prevent too much shrinking.The quality is great, happy to see a YKK zipper, and the price was good too. Will definitely re-order!
