The light itself seems to work well but what has let this product down is a design defect. The rubber cover for the charging port easily falls out and once that happens it is impossible to put back in. That means the light is not waterproof anymore and cannot be used in environments where it rains. I have requested a return for this product. Until this design flaw i fixed I recommend you don't buy it.

Liten lampa som lyser tillräckligt för att mötande och andra trafikanter ska se mig samt för mig att se vägen framför mig. Att cykla i mörka och kalla Sverige är inte enkelt om du har en undermålig lampa. Denna bländar och blinkar inte. Perfekt!

Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Lampe. Sie macht gutes Licht ist einfach anbringst und verrutscht kaum beim Fahren. Der Akku hält ewig.

Before I go into more detail, I want to point out the ONE FEATURE that sets this bright little light apart from virtually all comparable lights here on Amazon:As you'll see from product photos, most inexpensive bike lights shine only frontward. On this light, the lens has been extended a bit around the sides too, so drivers can also see you from the right or left (see 2nd photo). Extra safety!Some reviewers have mentioned this light's unusual projection pattern. Rather than a simple forward spot, it throws a rectangular pattern forward, and a more diffused pattern below and to the sides. This is intentional, as it gives you a fuller view of the road.I ordered this light to compliment the more focused light on my Niu electric kick scooter. By angling them differently, I can see the road well ahead as well as closer to me. As you can see in my photo, though, this light is pretty bright on its own.To charge it, connect the cord to any USB AC power adapter, and the light's power switch glows green. When charging's done, the light goes out. When it's time to recharge, the switch glows red.To turn on the light, press the switch once for low brightness, and again for high brightness. It took me a few tries to realize how this worked, because rather than flashing directly from one level to another—which is hard on your eyes in the dark—it gently FADES from one level to another.Similarly, to turn off the light, press and hold the power switch, and the light FADES to darkness rather than suddenly going out. It's a nice, considerate extra bit of engineering.The light's heavy rubber strap holds it securely to my handlebar. If the strap's notches don't give you just the fit you want, try wrapping a strip of non-skid rug webbing around the bar before you mount the light. That's a trick I've used with many lights to get just the right fit.With its brightness, compact size, and other nice features, this little light is a great value. Highly recommended!
