Evo Gym Review: Not RecommendedAfter a few months of use, four bands have snapped despite following instructions and having 20+ years of training experience. This severely limits the available resistance, making the system nearly useless over time. Additionally, the advertised resistance is misleading—I only received a total of 180 lbs, which is insufficient for single-arm and heavy compound exercises like squats, bench press, and deadlifts. There are more durable and versatile options available such as the Harambe system. Would not buy again.

I bought this because I am injured and can't go to the gym. I like the variety of exercises I can perform and still get a decent workout.The only con I have so far is that the loops come out of the platform quite easily. I wish there was some sort of locking mechanism as thos can be quite dangerous.Other than that I'm quite happy with the purchase.

I needed something that would be an upgrade from my old/regular resistance bands that you have to step on etc. for workouts and wanted to find something that would provide improved resistance training that I could do at home, in a small space, since the gym or home gym with free weights etc. isn’t an option right now, so I thought I’d give this a try, and it more then fits the bill!I find that the option to use the “notches” on the bands is genius, since you can get decent eccentric resistance since you’re able to have some tension throughout most movements. Something I was not able to achieve with other resistance bands that had almost nothing until you were halfway to the concentric contraction because of the length (and no base to attach the bands too). Since starting with the EVO, and it’s ability for many various resistance exercises for the whole body, I’ve already noticed good gainsand definition In my muscles and overall fitness. I’m a skinny-ish older guy, so I’ve also been adding a lot of protein and some extra calories to my diet to maximize my results.The build quality of the base and accessories is great, and all the printed info received with the product, the online videos from Mitchell (the owner) are really very helpful for a basic overview of what you can do with the EVO.Also their customer service has been really great and quick to respond (thanks Jim Reyes) with some of my questions etc.I saw some other reviews regarding people having frustrations with changing the bands on the base between exercises, and I get it, it’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you “get it” it’s not really that bad at all, and you’ll get fast at it (look at it as your rest time between sets).But I do agree that the door anchor/band connection bracket can be bit “clunky” to work with, but it’s pretty ingenious for how it can work with the notched bands, but yeah, I do struggle with it at times.I also really appreciate that Nomadix makes sure you are very aware of the limitations of resistance bands, unlike other companies that usually just gloss over this, or don’t even make you aware that as these latex bands get older, or are pushed beyond their ability they may snap. it’s happened to me with other ones I’ve had, and yeah, it's jarring, but that’s just the reality of these things. Just got to remember to try to inspect them as best you can for wear etc.At least Nomadix offers FREE replacements if a band should break, or is received with any issues!I’m a VERY happy customer, and really have been enjoying getting my motivation back for muscle building & strength training since seeing my results with the EVO - Thanks guys!

Little pricy. One of the bands broke. And no product support. Has not even been a year. I only use it three times a week.

Used it for the first time today and I love it so far. I am able to sleep in a little longer on the days I use since I don’t have to drive to the gym. The video tutorials are really helpful.

Loving my nomadic Evo gym. Easy to hide, easy to use, sturdy, amazing quality. Really looking forward to putting the work into it daily. Wonderful product
