It arrived with the packaging the worse for wear. When I opened it up, it was obvious that it had been dropped on its end. The motor housing was severely bashed and misshapen and the door to the gear pulleys would not close properly, one hinge was nearly wrenched off – the door operates a safety cut out switch. I came very close to repacking it and returning it. However, the hassle in sending back a 30kg item seemed greater than me trying to fix it. I did manage to straighten out the housing and get the door realigned, to a degree, so it did operate the switch (with difficulty).I did manage to get the lathe up and running, however, it overheated and cut out after ½ hours use! I think that the motor housing vents are inadequate - - On the packaging: it declares that inside there should be 2 morse taper headstock drivers, whereas fitted to the motor shaft, there was one (chunky) driver spike with a 25mm diameter male thread screw ( a bit too big if trying to turn something delicate) but this is what is in the product description. - - The chisel rest anvil was a bit wobbly and is designed to be in one position, ie., difficult to set securely at an angle. - The tailstock and the chisel rest clamp handles conflict with each other when trying to turn anything less than 200mm long, they are also awkward to use. - - I have tried to get additional headstock driver spikes and plates on line but so far without success, fortunately I am in a position to make my own.

Arrivato nell'imballo tutto scassato, aveva preso anche uno botticina, comunque l'ho provato e funziona egregiamente. Consiglierei un imballo migliore rispetto a quello che hanno fatto a me, considerando anche che non tutti i corrieri hanno cura delle merci.

Funciona muy bien estoy contento
