j'avais essayé auparavant un modèle plus gros (diamètre ext 5.7mm) mais c'était bien trop large pour les exercices de tirage notamment sur ma barre de traction dont les mousses étaient déchirées. A la place j'utilise ces manchons et c'est vraiment top, le grip est excellent et inutile de mettre des gants, et le travail des avant-bras est impressionnant...

So, these Fat Gripz are useful.The concept seems counter-intuitive.If I ask you to show me how muscular your biceps or forearms are, the first thing you will do is squeeze your hands as tightly as possible.Therefore, you would think. The tighter you squeeze your hands the more muscly you will get?Well yes and no.We do want to squeeze our hands as tightly as possible, however, if we are squeezing our hands tightly around a bigger diameter, this brings more muscle fibres into play. I believe a lot of this is because we need more muscle fibres to control the bar/dumbbell as we curl etc.Because of this, you will find that you cannot use as much weight as you usually would. But, if you persevere, it won't be long before you're back to your previous limits.To get the most from these, precise form is the key.When you use these, I suggest you perform your reps as slowly as possible.Your goal is not to move the weight, but to feel the contraction of the muscle.Slowly, slowly, slowly.If you do this, I guarantee you will experience a lactic burn like never before.There are 3 different sets of Fat Gripz.These black ones (the smallest diameter).Then the blue ones and the red ones.The blue and red are for localised arm exercises, such as biceps curls etc.All of them are made of heavy duty rubber, that frankly feels indestructible.These black ones, with a smaller diameter, will give you more control, so are made for heavyweight compound exercises, such as pressing and chins.I use them primarily for chin-ups.They do take a bit of getting used to.But, once you feel comfortable with them, you will notice a difference.As you can see in the Photo, I actually have them around an already padded chin bar. Although the two ends don't meet together, (there is a 2cm gap) they still work well, with no slipping when tightly gripped.They will primarily increase your grip strength, so I tend to do one workout with these, then the next time, with a standard grip and added weight. That way my chins alternate between more arms/shoulders, then next session more back.I also use them for dumbbell curls and they work very well. The extra pump you feel, particularly in your forearms is considerable.The grips themselves are very well molded and are comfortable to hold.Make sure you have the cut slit in your palm, that way you will be squeezing them together as you train.I've also found they make nice squat padding, if you put them together in the middle of the bar.I will update this review in a few months, to let you know my ongoing progress.I hope you found this review helpful.

These are awesome. Not too big like some of the others. Just makes the bar bigger for big hands. Plus if you use dumbbells in colder scenarios, like the garage or a gymshed, these help keep your hands warmer as you don’t have to touch the metal. Excellent quality. Use them all the time.
