This pad sticks great to a standard velcro orbital sander and works well to apply Rubio Monocoat. Be warned, you'll get the finish splattered all over the sander, and the finish will soak through to the sanding pad. This isn't a fault of the vlies, it's just a messy process.

I used these pads to work in and even out surfaces treated with oil-wax wood finishes (Rubio Monocoat, Osmo30433).I was happy with the results. No debris or lint was left behind. The finish was even and well distributed.
