Mit Fiebing's hab ich jetzt nur positive erlebnisse gehabt, bis dieses mal. Aber auch nur weil mir vorkommt als haben sie mir dsa falsche Produkt geschickt.Zur auswahl standen zwei Königsblau farben, die eine schien mir etwas heller zu sein und die hab ich auch bestellt aber gekommen dürfte das andere sein. Ihr könnt ja selnst im Bild sehen wie dunkel die farbe ist, geht fast schon ins Schwarz. Deswegen nur 4 SterneAber sonst TOP

I use Fiebings dyes a lot, in a wide range of applications.Here’s what I learned about the Pro line: they don’t come with that swab tool to apply the dye, like the regular ones do. I guess they figure if you’re a pro, you already have something like that. (I used cotton balls: therefore my fingers were blue for a couple weeks.)But yeah, Fiebings dye is great for both leather and wood (and probably anything else you want to clobber with tone or color).

I live in California, and this says "not legal for sale in California on the side of the label" but I got it without any problems (UPS ground). I wanted to dye a leather bracelet that was originally pale blue with a metallic effect; I used acetone to take off the blue and was pleasantly surprised it removed all the color, back down to the brown leather. I then applied the royal blue dye, three coats, with a Q-tip. It came out very dark; it's more purple than blue, but very very very dark purple. Not really distinguishable from black. I put three coats of Resolene on top of that, and the color stayed the same; rubbing it with a cloth resulted in some royal blue dye transferring to the cloth, but the leather itself remained dark purple. I'm not unhappy with the results; the color is even and looks good. It just doesn't look royal blue.
