The folding hand saw by Flora Guard is a lot larger than I thought considering the initial price range, currently valued at £9.99 I think that this saw is excellent value for money, the folded length of the saw is 225mm, and unfolded it is 400mm, the blade is made from a high carbon steel and measures roughly 1.5mm - 2mm thick, it is a little on the flexible side but cuts fine. The handle is made from a grippy rubber that has cork particles inside, the extra grooves allow a good grip to be achieved, I like the cutting angle of the blade as it feels natural to hold.To use the saw there is firstly a spring loaded lock that requires you to push down to open the blade up, it must be kept fully pressed down to fully open until it passes the first lockable point, it will clip into place once there, repeat this process to close the blade, I like this safety feature.Overall, a nice portable saw that is well made and performs well on branches that are over 10mm diameter I would say, anything under will snag due to the TPI of the teeth, I hope that my review has been helpful, thank you.

The 'FLORA GUARD Folding Hand Saw, Camping/Pruning Saw, 7inch, Gold' arrived in a blister pack. There is very little information on how to use this saw which might be needed by a user unfamiliar with the saw. The back of the blister pack mentions that the blade can be locked in the open and closed positions but it fails to mention that it will also lock in a part open position with the blade angled at around 30 degrees; why it does this I do not know but it might be to enable the saw to be hooked over a branch when not in use.In the locked closed position there is a small amount of movement that allows some of the teeth to be partially exposed. The saw is used on the pull stroke and I found that leaving it to cut at its own speed made short work of a 1inch branch. The teeth are set so the cutting edge is on the outside which means there is less issue with the blade binding.

Wish it came with instructions as I'm unfamiliar with these sorts of blades. It's well-made though, and cut through an errant branch well once I figured out how to drag it.

I like the folding design of this Flora Guard pruning saw. It has a nicely shaped soft grip handle and the blade locks securely into the open position with a sturdy press button adjacent to the blade hinge to release it for closing.Having used it to cut several dead branches off of some fruit trees, I found that it cuts very well and is an ideal size for carrying around the garden. Much more convenient than carrying a regular saw. It looks and feels well made and after each use I simply wipe the blade over with some oil on a cloth to help prevent any corrosion of the blade between uses.In summary it is in my opinion good value for the price, functions as it should and is solidly made. Recommended.

Made light work of trimming some fairly heavy branches off a garden bush. Very sharp with excellent double cut teeth that make cutting branches fast and easy. Soft grip handle that's ergonomic and easy to hold on to. Perfect for camping or gardening and great value at less than £10 at the time of writing.
