I like Dover, their paper is nice, the binding lays flat, if you've had any music books by Dover you know what to expect.Yes the notes are slanted and a little harder to read because it is a copy of the actual transcription by Liszt. It's extra cool for tat reason in my opinion.Also the dimensions/size of the book is a little smaller and more square (as the stock photo shows) because again, it's a copy of the thing Liszt wrote.It's a great book witha biographical introduction, includes the covers of the original publication before the music, and again, the quality of Dover paper/printing is great.

OK, depending on your intentions... a nice reference book, a copy of the original 1840 publishing, along with introductory notes. Decent binding. Includes the ornate Title Pages for each piece. For performance or practice purposes, there are better choices. First of all, this is in 9 1/2 x 11 inch format, not standard (and larger) sheet music size. No fingering indications, and the notations LOOK like they're from 1840 - kind of slash style note markings, not easy to look at unless you study it slowly. Again, nice for reference but not real comfortably sight-read.

The print quality is poor - though the music is beautiful. OK for listening to CD with - not for playing the piano. You'll strain your eyes.
