Jas is licht, houdt regenwater prima tegen. Vlekt wel snel. Laag gewicht en waterdicht is het doel. Dus aan te raden.

The pants were torn when I put them on for the first time. The material is not durable and resembles paper.

Purchased for use on a white water rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. Not only great water protection, but also lightweight effective protection against the sun.Not certain how long the pants will last and they showed some strain on the bum seam after six days of rafting.

I got this because of the light blue colour that was represented in the photo, hoping for better visibility. It's actually a dark blue.Came in a handy sack for easy storage.Pants are very wide. Bottom is open, no elastic. Jacket is same, wide. Sleeves have elastic.Thin material but should help keep me dry on my scooter for the time being!I like how small this packs up. Keeps my seat storage open for helmet, groceries, etc.The jacket will also be good for travelling since it packs up so small. This entire outfit would be good for camping or hiking, even more so if there was elastic on the legs.Price is good.It gets 3 stars due to strange fit and misrepresented colour. I also don't think it'll last long before I tear it.

I've put this suit through the wringer in a variety of circumstances over the past two years, and it's a mixed verdict. It's great for certain purposes, and not so much for others. If you are looking for a basic rain suit that packs down small, is breathable and comfortable and will fit over most any outfit, and will be used only occasionally, this will probably work out great for you. I loved it for camping and backpacking because it's light and small, but gives you not only rain protection but a warm layer if you need it, as well. However, when I started a job that has me working outdoors in all kinds of weather while handling tools and equipment, this suit's limitations became evident. If you stay outdoors in a good downpour for more than an hour, you will saturate this set and it will fail. By fail, I mean that the places that become saturated will lose all waterproof capabilities and the water will stream in and soak you. You can wash this set in a machine and hang to dry, and you can even "re-waterproof" with a waterproofing spray, but it will fail when it gets saturated, every time. Also, if you are working in a setting where you will encounter branches or twigs, or any kind of sharp tools or objects, this suit will snag and tear very easily. Working around trussing held together with cotter pins, I started tearing this set to shreds. Ultimately, after tearing through several inexpensive sets of this suit, I decided to spring for a serious rain coat and pants for work (ended up getting the Columbia Titanium line, which is phenomenal -- and also is reflected in the price.)In spite of this set not holding up to really intensive use, I still think it's a great affordable set to keep handy for camping and backpacking, and it's what I send with my son when he's camping with Scouts. It serves those purposes just fine, and with a pretty low price tag.

I have just received my Frogg Toggs so I have not had a chance to test them in the rain. Will update when I do that. For now I can tell you that the Small size fits me perfectly. I am 5ft 7" tall and weigh 145 pounds. The pants are wide enough at the bottom to go over my rain boots and the elastic waistband is just right for me, even when wearing over clothes. My waist is about 34". The coat sleeves are just right and have elastic at the wrists to help keep water out. The coat also has just the right amount of room in the shoulders. The only thing I see that might be a problem is that the zipper covering flap that is supposed to help keep water out, has no staps or velcro anywhere on it to keep it closed properly. Something at the top of it would help a lot. Will have to evaluate further when I can get in the rain!

This will not win any fashion awards ... As other reviewers wrote, it is boxy, lacks any pockets whatsoever, and is a bit larger than I expected. HOWEVER, it will serve its purpose as an emergency rain gear that takes almost no room and weighs close to nothier (read: no hesitation about packing it when the possibility arises one might encounter rain or need to be outdoors, especially if it might also be windy (i.e. umbrella will be harder to manage, take more room, and actually weighs more and protects less than this ...).If you want a cheap, almost disposable (if you so wish--it doesn't have to be, but you won't feel terrible if this gets too soiled to be worth lugging back home from a trip) at least price-wise--this suit will do the trick. A friend of mine saw mine and bought one for herself and for her grown children, figuring she could add it to the cost of their family trip to Scotland, and have the whole family rain-protected for very little money, everything considered.Extra benefit? No one will mistake you for a tycoon and try to kidnap you for your gear or possible worth (i.e. looks cheap, is cheap, but is effective, so who cares in the rain?).
