De vierlaagse acrylbehuizing, gekoppeld aan vier Armor Lite V5-koellichamen, is zorgvuldig ontworpen voor de Raspberry Pi 5. Met precisie vervaardigd, elke laag acryl wordt stevig aan elkaar bevestigd met behulp van koperen afstandhouders, waardoor de structurele integriteit en thermische efficiëntie worden gegarandeerd. Deze vierlaagse acrylbehuizing is ontworpen voor vier Raspberry Pi 5-eenheden, waardoor een klein cluster kan worden gecreëerd. The acrylic is cut to the right size and has holes in all the right places, but otherwise is nothing special. The kit is supplied with all the pillars and screws to mount the Pis to each acrylic layer, and also to mount each layer above the previous layer.Being open ended, having heatsink fans, and if you use longer pillars between the layers, heat should not be a problem, in my opinion.The kit includes 4 Armor Lite V5 heatsink fans, and to me this is the highlight of the kit. In my humble opinion this cooler appears to be better than the Official Raspberry Pi Active Cooler. Also it seems to be quieter. Not sure how long they will last, only time will tell, but being quieter is a good sign of quality. So far I am really impressed with these heatsink fans, and so the kit price (£30) seemed reasonable to me because it included them.The main problem I had is that the pillars for separating the layers are too short in my opinion, e.g. if you wanted to attach a HAT (e.g. NVME HAT), then you will probably either need extensions or longer pillars. I used longer pillars. It might have been nice if they supplied some extension pillars as part of the kit to allow you to choose a taller spacing between the layers.

The 4 layered acrylic case for Raspberry Pi 5 is an interesting product. It looks sleek and allows me to see the inner workings of the Pi, which adds a cool tech vibe to my setup. The assembly is easy and all the pieces fit perfectly. It can be used with different modifications like HATs or whatever modules you want. The active cooler is very effective and cools my Raspberry Pi 5 at less than 40 degrees Celsius, even during intensive tasks. The active cooling system is quiet and efficient, ensuring optimal performance. This case and cooler combo is an excellent choice for anyone looking to protect and enhance their Raspberry Pi 5. The packaging is a small carton box, which keeps all parts of the case tidily organized and well protected during transport. Great product!

Particolarissimo case per Raspberry Pi5 dato che è in grado di impilare fino a quattro di queste schede, ognuna su di un piano diverso, ma volendo si possono creare quattro case separati, oppure uno solo da meno “piani”.Nella confezione viene fornito tutto il necessario per portare a termine l’operazione nel migliore dei modi; oltre ai pezzi che formano il case, troviamo anche quattro dissipatori con ventolina che, grazie alla forma molto precisa, vanno a raffreddare tutti i chip presenti sul Raspberry, operazione aiutata anche dai pad di pasta termica da applicare tra i chip ed il dissipatore.Il montaggio è un po laborioso ma i moltissimi pezzi ci lasciano liberi di agire come più ci piace. Io per esempio ho montato un Raspberry Pi4 su di un piano senza alcuna difficoltà; purtroppo però il dissipatore non si adatta minimamente a questo modello e così ho dovuto lavorare di fantasia e mola così da tagliare via delle aree che non mi permettevano l’installazione. Anche il ventolino non era collegabile dato che il Raspberry Pi5 ha un connettore a 4pin dedicato mentre il modello precedente no, e cosi anche in questo caso ho modificato il tutto in modo da poterlo collegare ai Pin GPIO. Il tutto è venuto incredibilmente bene ma è un impresa che può essere intrapresa solo da utenti esperti e con una certa propensione al fai-da-te.In conclusione trovo che questo sia davvero un kit interessante e versatile, il fatto di lasciare i Raspberry completamente aperti sui quattro lati assicura un ottimo raffreddamento, anche se li lascia un po’ troppo senza protezione. Per quanto mi riguarda merita le 5 stelle.
